Materials to Bring

My Paints:

Prafull is a Daniel Smith Ambassador and so his colours are chosen from the range of Daniel Smith Paints - however please bring what paints you have - Prafull will be using the Shades of:

• New Gamboge
• Pyrrol Orange
• Ultramarine Blue
• Raw Sienna
• Burnt Sienna Light
• Undersea Green

Brushes

• Prafull specialises in the use of fine tipped Chinese Brushes - if you are hunting for similar we have included an image of the brushes he uses to give you an idea of what to buy!

Other Materials:

• Spray bottles
• Hair drier
• Tissue/kitchen paper towels
• Bottle or container for water to wash your brushes

Prafull Sawant - Profile

Prafull B. Sawant was born in 1979 at Nasik, India . He has long been considered one of the foremost Realistic artists in the world.  He is best known for his Plain Air atmospheric landscapes that captures the light to create the mood and space of the scene.  He is a highly sought after around the world for his demonstrations, international workshops, lectures and exhibits. He is frequently invited for Plain Air workshops, to jury international competitions and prestigious Invitational exhibitions and events such as  "3ème Festival International de peinture de plein air sur grand format", Paris ,France  ( 2019, 2020 ), "Moscow International Watercolor Festival" , Russia (2017), "10th Festival International De L'Aquarelle", Aiguillon ,France (2017), "Artlife Fest-2018 and 2019 " in Moscow ,Russia, "5th Lushan International Watercolor Festival" in China (2014), "Qingdao Art Museum" in China (2014),  "Festival De International Aqurela" in Peru (2019) Fabriano In Aquarello , Italy ( 2016, 2018,2019 ) and more.

He has been invited for his Solo Exhibition in China at Shanghai Quanhua Watercolor art Gallery, Shanghai and Xufeng Art Museum in Qingdao City. He has 15 solo Exhibitions  and more than 70  international Exhibition by invitation on his Credit. He Won 45 Awards and Scholarships  in National and State Levels.

He visited more than 21 countries for his invitational exhibition ,demonstrations , lectures and workshops , In the Year more than 7 months he is Out Of India for the same.

He is Brand Ambassador of Daniel Smith Artist materials, USA .,Recently Daniel smith artist watercolors, Published Master artist watercolor set under his name as "Daniel Smith Prafull Sawant Master Artist Watercolor Set" in Oct .2019., He is the first and the only artist from India to get this honor.

He is only Indian Artist to invited as Honorable Member of IMWA -International Masters of Watercolor Alliance (Registered in Sweden).

Refund Policy |

You can book your Workshop with confidence - knowing that we will refund the Workshop Fee - less $AUD10.00 Booking fee to cover bank and admin charges - provided we are notified in writing via our CONTACT FORM - dated one week prior to the commencement of the Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale - 2025 i.e. 10th September 2025.

Cancellations after this date will be refunded at 50% of the Booking Fee, at the discretion of the Curator of the Australian Watercolour Muster - Wyn Vogel - depending on the critical circumstances and again notified in writing via our CONTACT FORM - with your phone number and details of the Workshop / Event you are wishing to cancel. A booking fee of $AUD10.00 will be applied to these late cancellations. 

There will be no refund if the Student doesn't advise of their inability to attend at least 24hours prior to the Workshop date and/or doesn't arrive at the Workshop!
