J.Hungsung - Artist Profile

Born in Yeosu, a small port city in Korea with a beautiful and developed artistic culture, Jung-Hun Sung started painting in his studio at the age of 10. Currently he only paints with watercolor and exhibits his work worldwide. He now lives in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do and runs a watercolor studio.

Jun says .........“There are four things I consider to be equally important when painting watercolors – water, paint, paper and brush. Nothing is unimportant, but the material that has an absolute influence is paint. Daniel Smith paints provide excellent quality in every way, inspiring me to immediately change the paint I had been using for nearly 40 years. The depth and effect of color is a noticeable change in the portraits I usually paint. Daniel Smith will play the role of pointing you in the right direction, now and for the future of watercolor painting.”
