Born in Italy and raised in Australia in the bush I found my passion with drawing my surroundings. Painting came later when I was able to purchase art materials, this was much later on as an adult. Not really encouraged in art as it was not considered a proper job!I worked in an office environment. When I married and had children my husband encouraged me to go on and join a local art group.
I then started to learn by going to workshops, trial and error and lots of practice! I also did a course through tafe and continue learning as I go along. Having won a few small awards along the way and selling paintings, encourages you to think that you are progessing in the right direction.
